TAIA International Capital Market Exchange Concludes Successfully as CHAMPFIT Explores New Global Financing Opportunities in the AI Era
The Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Industry Association (TAIA) held its 3rd-Term, 1st General Assembly and Joint Board Meeting in Taipei on 4 October 2026. As part of the event, TAIA also organized the International Capital Market Exchange, bringing together member companies, industry representatives, and professionals to foster dialogue and collaboration between the technology sector and global financial markets.
During the International Capital Market Exchange session, Lawrence Cheung, Founder and Director of CHAMPFIT, was invited as a keynote speaker. Focusing on global AI industry developments and capital market trends, he explored how companies across different sectors can accelerate growth and expand into international markets through intellectual property (IP) value creation, global capital market strategies, and innovative financing models.
In his presentation, Lawrence introduced the concept of “Day One IPO,” emphasizing that in an era of rapid AI advancement, businesses should adopt a capital market mindset from the outset. He noted that fundraising strategies, corporate governance, and global expansion planning should be incorporated into a company's development roadmap from its earliest stages. Lawrence also presented the TIP-FI (Tokenized IP Financialization) framework, illustrating how IP financialization and international corporate structuring can help innovative enterprises strengthen their fundraising capabilities and enhance market competitiveness.
Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on AI industry trends, corporate financing, IPO planning, and the outlook for international market development. The event generated strong interest and lively exchanges among attendees. Through the General Assembly and International Capital Market Exchange, TAIA further strengthened connections across the industry ecosystem and created new opportunities for Taiwanese enterprises to connect with global capital markets and international growth opportunities.
